Robin Hood Gate is the area we use for our summer power kite lessons (March to August).
Two neighbouring car parks (Robin Hood Gate itself and Penn Ponds) offer quick and easy access to parking and food n' drink vans. Toilets are located on the far side of the Robin Hood gate car park.

Flying Restrictions :
Robin Hood gate is a designated traction kite area as per the Kite Flying in Richmond Park guide. If you are traction flying here (i.e. outside of attending a lesson) you will need to buy a kite flying permit from the Royal Parks. Helmets, crash pads and kite killers are advised as part of the code of conduct.
